Meet Our Equine Team
Our Current Team Of Equine-Only Veterinary Surgeons Is As Follows:
BOB BARKER has over 30 years equine veterinary experience in the South West and
has been involved in equine scintigraphy for most of this time.
TONY KAYE has particular interests in equine orthopaedics and back conditions, equine
reproduction and equine dentistry.
BEN CRISP is currently studying for the certificate in equine medicine and has particular
interests in cardiology, gastroscopy and equine reproduction.
RICHARD FROST joined us in 2007 with 5 years experience in equine practice in Shropshire.
He has particular interests in equine dentistry and equine anaesthesia and is a
welcome addition to our team.
ALISON REED has a particular interest in diagnostic techniques and medical conditions
of horses and donkeys.
OLLIE CROWE holds a certificate in equine surgery and has over 10 years equine surgical
experience. He has held surgical posts at the Royal Veterinary College as well as
in Newmarket, Lambourne and Gloucestershire. Ollie has particular expertise in arthroscopic
surgery for the treatment of equine joint disease and laparoscopic surgery.
The equine vets are supported by Claire Hawkins VN, Kerry Davidson VN, Janie McDonald
and Sarah Woolloff (both Trainee Equine VN’s) and Donna Cordey who form our nursing
and office teams.
