Diagnosis And One Of Our Equine Veterinary Surgeons, Ben Crisp, Is Currently Studying
For A Certificate In Equine Medicine.
Our Services Include:
- GASTROSCOPY (endoscopic examination of the lining of the stomach). Currently the
only method of diagnosis for gastric ulceration, an increasingly recognised condition.
- CARDIOLOGY (examination of the heart). Ben has a particular interest in this field.
The practice has a telemetric ECG (which allows measurement of the electrical activity
of the heart at rest and exercise) as well as cardiac ultrasound.
- IN HOUSE LABORATORY which allows us to perform FITNESS PROFILING in the equine athlete
in training as well as a host of other tests.
- HIGH QUALITY DIGITAL ULTRASOUND for examination of the heart and abdominal organs
and for ULTRASOUND GUIDED ORGAN BIOPSY.
- RESPIRATORY ENDOSCOPY for the diagnosis of respiratory disease.
